Practice Schedule
Practice Sessions
There will be five sessions each day.
Morning Sessions
(On practice field) Emphasis will be on development of individual skills and techiques for good OFF/DEF line play.
Midday Sessions
Emphasis will be on develpment of good techniques in the weight room as well as teaching the importance of stretching and conditioning outside of the weight room. Weight room emphasis will be on lifts important to offensive and defensive linemen.
Two Afternoon Sessions
(On practice field) INdividual skill development is part of every session
but the afternoon session will work more on GROUP WORK.
*Coaches - send us groups of linemen and we will work them together as a
unit to help develop that cohesiveness needed for good pass protection and
pass rush.
Night Session
(In meeting rooms) Skull sessions. Teaching films as well as videos from earlier practice sessions will be used to help improve each individual.
Night Lectures
Lectures on issues such as ACT instructions, drug and steroid use, recruitment,academics and nutrition as it relates to athletic performance.
